(ABC News) – Gleeks will have to say goodbye to their favorite show next season.
“Glee” co-creator Ryan Murphy told reporters last night in Beverly Hills that the sixth season of the hit show would be its last and that Cory Monteith’s untimely death would affect how the series ends, TV line reports.
Monteith played Finn Hudson on the show and died of a mix of alcohol and heroin in his Vancouver hotel on July 13.
“The final year of the show, which will be next year, was designed around Rachel and Cory/Finn’s story,” he explained. “I always knew that, I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was, he was in it. I knew what the last line was, she said it to him.”
