Andrés Pérez, hijo de padres mexicanos originarios de Zacatecas, México. Fue criado en Chicago desde una edad temprana. El creció escuchando música en español de varios países latinos en las estaciones de Chicago pero el empezó su afición de locutor en Dodge City, Kansas cuando junto con un hermano y un amigo decidieron empezar un programa en español, llamado Sabadito Alegre. Para él fue en ese tiempo solo un pasatiempo. Al llegar a Ottumwa Iowa en el 2004 y darse cuenta que no habia estación se ofreció a empezar uno.
A él le gusta la música de todo tipo, pero le gusta mas el ambiente que le trae a la gente. Su lema favorita es “Disfruten de la vida, vivan la vida y vivan la vida alegres.”
Andres Perez, son of Mexican parents from Zacatecas, Mexico, was raised in Chicago since a very young age. He grew up listening to Spanish music from different countries on the Chicago Spanish stations but his passion of being a DJ started in Dodge City, Kansas when along with his brother and a friend, they started a morning show called "Sabadito Alegre — Happy Saturday."
At this time this was only a hobby for him until he arrived in Ottumwa, Iowa in 2004 and realized there was no Spanish station, so he offered to start one.
He likes all types of music, but he likes the atmosphere it brings to people even more.
My motto is "Enjoy life, live life and live happy".
